This innovative project provides a proactive approach to diabetes and chronic disease management in South Asian and Chinese  individuals and families at risk for and/or living with diabetes and other chronic diseases such as cardiac illnesses.


 

An annual South Asian Cultural Show that exhibits the various local South Asian talent via many medium such as music, dance, theatre, and poetry and in doing so fusing traditional and contemporary South Asian culture.


Aim: To ensure that traditional links between community elders and youth are maintained and enhanced. To develop a catalogue of activities that will support these relationships and roles.


Aim: To increase awareness of the rich cultural diversity of the South Asian community, for both the mainstream human services sector and the SouthAsian community itself.


Aim: To inspire, actively engage, and mobilize the South Asian youth in preventing violence and building healthy relationships in their lives.

A project in partnership with METRAC

Aim: To inspire youth to prevent violence in their lives.


The main purpose of the project is to encourage and enable South Asian seniors and youth to exchange experiences, skills, resources and wisdom through planning, developing, and executing various intergenerational activities.
