Neighbours, Friends and Family:

Learning Network Logo

Neighbours, Friends and Families (NFF) is a public education campaign to raise awareness of the signs of woman abuse so that those close to an at-risk woman or an abusive man can help.  The Ontario Women’s Directorate has funded the campaign since November 2005. The Centre for Research & Education on Violence against Women & Children at Western University has managed the campaign. To date, more than 200 communities have participated in the campaign. Please visit the NFF website for more information about this overall campaign.

Social Services Network (SSN) in coordination with Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto will develop and implement an NFF campaign specific to immigrants and refugees in South Asian communities in Toronto, York, Peel and Durham regions.
